So I was browsing some forums and someone mentioned that on the new episode of DL.TV they talked about the GP2X. Well I have a GP2X and like it so I thought I would download the show and watch it. So it starts off and its well kind of bad. I mean the slogan is "For Tech Fans by Tech Fans" and it obviously isnt for Tech Fans. Unless by tech fans you mean my mom who touches a PC once a week. But I thought I would bear through it as they where also going to talk about the Wii. So Im about 15 minutes into the show and then they go to... wait for it wait for it... A COMMERCIAL!!!. 2 Parts:

Why the hell do you have commercials in your downloadable show? It doesnt air on TV why have them...??

Second who the **** is dumb enough to go "hey this is a show offered on the internet that people download. Lets put adds in it that they can skip right past..." Goddamn that show is stupid.

Oh and Robert Heroin said he isnt down with how AllofMp3 operates.

A stopped watching the show because of Robert. I got tired of the show being nothing but him talking about TV's.

I love DL.TV so I disagree.

Closest thing I have to TSS these days.

Well, you see Billy, a company will actually give them money so they can keep producing the show. All they have to do is put a 30 second video promoting said company's product into the show. Surprisingly, it was recently disovered that this system works for internet videos, as well as TV shows! Incredible!

The ads stream on dl.tv also, so people can't skip past that. My only complaint about dl.tv is the set... they need a better budget! :)

I think it's OK. I just skip the bits about Robert waffling on about HD (although he does bring up some interesting bits every now and again). They know more about what they're talking about than some tech shows and it gives me a chance to catch up with some stuff I may have missed. There's always the fast forward button, eh? It's for Tech Fans, not the '1337'. I think it's unpretentious, unlike say 'thebroken' and I like that.

Recently the part where Patrick was doing a segment on PC cases and he put the Dell XPS 710 on the table off-camera made me crack up. You can clearly hear a 'gnnnnnnugh!' (The XPS case is heavier than most servers) while Robert is talking.

The only thing... Jim Louderback, I know he's the boss but he comes across as a total tool.

I think you're ignorant to complain about the ads, you know why they are there, you know you can skip them if you so wish, so don't complain. You're smarter than that.
