I'm guessing the reason this one was short is because the effects are basic.

I'm hoping that the episodes with more complicated effects are longer with more of the steps outlined.

I love the show though. Funny, well produced, etc. It's a hit and a great addition to the network.

Yea, I assume they get longer as the effects get harder but it must take a while to make a short film and show how they do all the effects for it every week, so I understand they won't be as long as some other Rev3 shows.

Yeah, it would be great to see more now :p but I understand that it probably takes time to make episodes, so I'd rather have episodes like this first one that aren't rushed.

I am for longer episodes!. Laughing hysterically for 30 minutes is always superior to laughing hysterically for 10 minutes! Also, It would also be nice for the show hosts to discuss these after-effects software tools in more detail.

Haven't watched it yet, but I'm a fan of longer shows (Diggnation, TRS, CO-OP)

Go watch it!

Anyways i agree the show was like ten minutes long so i would love to see the harder things explained more, this episode seemed to be all about hey this is who we are.

which i understand, but at the same time the step by step was very fast IMO. but rewatching isnt a bad thing either :D

Bare in mind guys it took them two weeks to make the first episode so I wouldn't want them to get much longer, else they will lose quality.

I can understand that it is hard to prepare more than two or three effects on a weekly basis, but the show needs to be longer. They need to show the procedure with more detail. All i saw was a very short episode with great humor but i can't even recall what they told about the fx, since the narration was blazing fast.
A suggestion could be to take one effect at a time and show it in detail. Waiting for next weeks episode!

Yea, I was listening to the creator of Film Riot in a live chat and he was saying that they went fast so people who didn't want to do that effect could still watch and if you dis you can just pause it.
He was also thinking of creating full tutorials in another site or the forums.
