First of all, to those behind Film Riot: congratulations on a great first episode. Really looking forward to what you will produce in the future...

Secondly, I was wondering which applications you would be covering in terms of Post Production. I know you used After Effects for the first episode, but I'd like to see some diversity (if possible) in terms of what applications you demo. I'm a user of FCP and Premiere, but it'd be cool to see a few things in Avid or After Effects for general education purposes.

Thanks guys, keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words.

I will be showing FCP, more After Effects and later on color correction software. But I wont be getting into Avid or anything like that. The show wont be so much about teaching software as it will be about showing how to implement great techniques that can translate to all platforms of the like. There are a lot of tutorials online for what button is where, what I am hoping to show in this series is how to get creative and make a $100 short film look like a $100,000 short film!

But I am definitely up for opinions, and maybe later down the line I can figure a way to get something like that in there! ;)

I used avid for work experience, anyway just out of curiosity do you use a Mac or PC (well Windows PC)???

Avid is a great editing solution, I just haven't used it since film school. So it would be wise of me to try and teach it.

I use Mac and FCP. I love FCP! It's the best solution in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to seeing you show off some FCP tips :D great show so far.

I do hope to see things slow down a bit(the after effects went by so fast IMO)

Hey Ryan, great show. Your avatar looks like you are confused about how to use a camera to change a tire. :D

My work here is done.

I thought it was a machine gun, and he was using it to deflate a tire when the coast is clear.

Would I be able to do a lot of the effects shown in these episodes in Pinnacle Studio?

*nevermind*
Just realized Avid and Pinnacle are the same thing.

I'm not really sure, I've never used pinnacle. However, the new episode is more catered to effects that almost any editing suite can handle.
