The way he talked about the demographic audience for this thing reminds me of the GBA micro as it's for a younger crowd.
Also looks like if they merged the mylo with PSP,I'm not sure this thing will succeed.

Damn, beat me to it...
As I have said on other forums:
If this is legit, eeew...
That mofo is fugly as hell...
I am interested in the specs though...
16GB on board memory?! Interesting!!
Perhaps this is what Kuturagi-san will display rather than the PS3 Slim @ E3...
Riiidge Raceer!!
New Metal Gear, Jak and Daxter, whoo!!

This might take a lot of wind out of the sails of Sony at E3.
I must say that I like the look and the idea behind the PSP Go. I hope this does well, and Microsoft steals this and enters the portable space (Not as a Zune device, but as more of an original Xbox that has been miniaturized).

and the full version.

The comment about the psp go being a premium product makes me a bit worried about how they will price is.

So... Even more portable Playstation system portable?
Few things I noticed from the video. First thing is that he mentioned a new Metal Gear game. Is there a known PSP MG in development or is this Kojima's new game? A little sad to hear that it's not on a console system.
I'm also curious about the battery. It doesn't look like there's an easy replaceable battery and I love the extended battery for the PSP.
And then the downloadable content, which I'm hope we can use our old games to download to the new system.
Looks simply like a PSP "Lite". Very much the nano of the PSP line. Glad that it's not a replacement for the 3000, since it's not the most impressive piece of hardware. As long as it doesn't take on the DSi pricing of being $xx more than the original. I'm just very indifferent about the system, really.

I agree that this leak will take a lot out of Sony's press conference. I mean, little big planet and MGS games being announced is a big deal. I bet that Sony really is kicking itself for this coming out early.

You gotta wonder how the hell it happened... Sony could have EASILY prevented this, considering it was leaked right through their network, for ANY Qore subscriber (myself included) to access...
Part of me hopes they did this on purpose, but the fact that they pulled it off the PSN already indicates this isn't what they were planning. I still got my copy downloaded, installed, watched, and deleted.
If they were banking on the PSP Go being their big announcement for E3, then they were doomed to begin with. It's not a secret; Destructoid revealed it months ago, and as time went on, more and more sources confirmed it. PSP Go is the worst-kept secret in gaming history. They must have something more than this.
I will be severely disappointed if Sony talk about it like nobody knew it was coming.
Unless Kaz announces a new Riiiiiiiiiidge Raceeeerrrrrrrr! to go with it. Then I will enjoy the YouTube remixes.

I think its one nasty looking system.
I do want to upgrade my PSP(i have the first fat one) but this doesnt seem like the thing i want because it looks horrible to play/hold.
But maybe it will have something that makes me want to pay 250 dollars.(tossing out my guess)
Or maybe i will buy a PSP-3000 with a price drop?
But yeah this hurts Sony alot i really dont see them saying much else, a few big name game series and the new system....
OF course they have PS3 news still...PSthree?(the slim)

I doubt they'll announce the PS3 slim at E3. Likley TGS or next E3, I'm guessing. Could be wrong.
In any case, if you still own UMD games, you won't want a PSP Go anyhow. I haven't held the thing in my hands, so I can't say that it's awkward to hold or not. I like my PSP-2000, though.
If you want a PSP-2000, Dell has them on sale for $119.99 right now: use coupon code NL34M60C1X3QWB and go to this link: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Sony_PSP/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A1320879&dgc=CJ&cid=27811&lid=1005665&acd=10678327-227502-165376-n-10
I'd buy another PSP-2000 myself, if I had that deal in Canada.

It might be safe to say that there is a strong possibility of releasing the PS3 slim at E3 because of the packaging. We know that the PSP Go is official and releasing this year and since the packaging is very similar in design it could be releasing this year as well. With Sony having to count the surprises they have left at E3, I think they would have to dish out the PS3 slim which could mean a possible price drop as well with the new dye shrink.
Back on track though, I liked some of the other pictures of the possible PSP, the white ring around the two button clusters throws me off. The rings feel like they are distracting from the screen. Oh well, still like the no hard copy idea (especially with a nice 16GB flash. =)

I would have kept the controls on the outside and put a keyboard inside. It would have made the PSP's web browser slightly more usable.
That said, the 16 GB of flash memory is a good selling point, considering I only have a 4 GB memory stick.

I think it would be cool if you have a UMD version of a game already that theyd give you a code to just download it or something...
But i really dont like the look of the Go...I just think it looks harder to hold and prob play more so then the PSP already is.

I swear they just scrapped the Mylo 3 and slapped the PSP name on it.

Yeah pretty much, it's probably due to the bad run that the mylo had, why would you get one if mp3 players, hand held consoles, and phones can go on the internet.
