Need Help Geting Into My Windows Media Player

I just updated my Windows Media Player to version 11 and it won't let me in or let me access new features because my version of Windows is not valid. It won't let me play ANYTHING. Please, If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

a. Why would you upgrade, you know MS is crazy about piracy now?
b. You should go into any school or business, find the certificate of authenticity that are on the majority of the desktops, and copy one of the serials. They haven't been blacklisted so they will work. I assume you are running windows xp professional "corporate" ie without activation.

Or you could just buy a copy of Windows of course, as alien the concept may be...
