I'm really surprised by the guys thinking Nintendo had a good conference. I thought it was pretty bad. Not the train wreck that was Ubisoft, but still not really all that it could have been. What about WiiWare? What about more then 3 "real" games for the Wii? Even these I have major beef with.

Metroid M - I laughed when they said, "You never saw Metroid like this before." It looks like Metroid Prime. The gameplay might be intersting but it's not like they are taking that big of a leap. Not anywhere near as big as the leap from Super Metroid to Prime.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - This looks fun as hell but very representative of modern day Nintendo: always competent, rarely inspired. We haven't had a direct sequel mario since the 2D era for a reason, it's lazy! It was fine to have Yoshi's Island and Super Mario Bros. 3 since you can't really change up 2D games all that much, but when you are exploring 3D environments it helps to go from the castle to the beach to outer space. Now it seems we are stuck there. Lame.

Other Mario Bros. game - Nothing much to say. It seems like you need to play before judging, but it definetely isn't a title I'm excited for. This is another party game. A party game based on the most commercially accepted game since Pacman. How is this really a "core" title?

Instead of showing us 3 more Conduit-esque titles, we see gameplay from The Conduit which is coming out in 3 weeks.

Just saying, I'm surprised this was enough to satisfy the Co-Op guys. I thought you guys were more jaded, bitter, and anti-Nintendo then this...

Definitely my most anticipated title this year. I'm especially glad to see Elena is in it. Mmmmm love triangles. I really wish it was just called Uncharted: Among Thieves. I think it gives it a more serial vibe, like Indiana Jones. I actually hate all titles with just a 2 or 3 at the end. No creativity.

You guys are seriously pulling out the stops to get these shows out at this rate and quality. Guess the prep work is paying off.

Nintendo never ceases to underwhelm me. Last year was bad enough, but Team Ninja (or what's left of it) has never made a game I've enjoyed. Mario Galaxy 2 is nice, but it's basically a map pack. It's bad enough they think a heartbeat monitor might be a good idea, but to show it off at this stage shows how crazy out of touch they are.

Great stuff guys - both the live show and these mini co-ops.
Gosh I wish you guys had the energy and manpower to pull off something akin to the 4-5 hour e3 show - because I can't stand the personalities of the over-enthusiastic shills on G4TV - and the same goes for the gamespot (which I will never visit again....ugh) personnel.

In any case keep up the good work - you're my source for E3 goodness now :)

I totally agree with you thing2. This is the best E3 coverage right along with E3 Nightcap (http://www.justin.tv/clip/823642a088400e05) and Giant Bomb (http://www.giantbomb.com/giant-bomb-at-e3-2009-day-00/17-780/).

nice work getting this out so soon. I gotta say i was hoping the guys would rip nintendo a bit more for the vitality sensor, but it's cool. Some more vid of the trip would be fun, but ill assume that's coming in a later episode.
