(This is just a repost, due to an issue with a dupe that had both posts deleted before. I know there was a few posts in here before so if you could just repost that would be great. thx)

I would just like to suggest doing an episode on some seafood, possibly on crab cakes or salmon cakes.

(p.s. And please include old bay for all those from maryland.)

Thx

I don't believe there *IS* a crab-cake recipe out there that doesn't have Old Bay included, but if there is, it should be expunged.

Plus, you can get Old Bay everywhere now, even here in cow-town Texas.

Wrong, I have lived in Maryland my whole life so I know all about seafood and crabs. Hell I even work at a seafood restaurant. :)

At the restaurant I work at we don't use any Old Bay in our crab cakes. We first make a shrimp mouse binder in the food processor. We put in shrimp, soy sauce (very little), lobster base, and heavy cream. Then we add the shrimp mouse to all of the crab cake and make 4 oz crab cakes. :)
