I would like to run win xp on my mac with boot camp. My win xp is the first version. How can I install sp2?

can i save the patch to a thumb drive?Why? Just install XP, then download direct from MS. No point in putting it on a thumbdrive. Just make sure that the ONLY site you go to before patching is MS to grab a copy.

SP3 requires either SP1 or SP2 be already installed I thought?
It does: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsxp/sp3/default.mspxTo install SP3, either Windows XP Service Pack 1a (SP1a) or Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) must already be installed.
