Would love to see a segment on how to do the Max Hedroom style effect where he skips. I understand this is done simply with frames and overlapping shots but would love to see how you all would do it.
Also I understand to be serious film maker one needs to invest the money for the proper programs. I would however like to see some things one could do on say Windows Movie Maker or IMovie that won't bust the bank to use. Sometimes one needs to get their feet wet with what they have at hand before making the full investment and jumping in...
Thank You! Great Show!

I started off using free software just like you, I can't give you any help on that effect but some program recommendations are as follows
Zwei Stein 3.01 (not the newer one) - FREE - A free green screening and effects program, hard to get the hang of at first and not all the errors are fully translated from German (or weren't last time I used it)
Adobe Premiere Elements V2.0 - $30 if you can get hold of it second hand - This is a great program and well worth the money from what I can tell it is actually Premiere Pro they have just disabled some of the more advanced features, V2 is great because it's better than V1 but the newer versions (I think they are up to V4) are a LOT less powerful, they try to be more user friendly and give you less control.
I've also used a load of free trails of software from FXhome, but not got round to investing in the full version yet, it's amazing for the price.Good luck and you can do a lot with the free tools out there,

The new episode is geared to exactly that. Most of the stuff in the third episode is all in camera effects.

That's kind of creepy. I mean, Dr. Who is still on the air?
