This episode didn't make any sense at all to me. Really makes me wonder who this JV guy is and why he's on Rev3, I could see him being a vlogger on YouTube, but not here. In older eps he at least ranted about something but this is just stupid... it's just a guy telling stories and bitching. Every other show on Rev3 fits perfectly, I have no clue in hell how this got on though.

I honestly thought this episode was somewhat entertaining. It started off intriguing, but kind of got to the point of him being whiny (just get rid of the bed. Don't see the issue, here.)

I do see that he is begging for subscribers (obviously getting fired from Rev3 would suck).. the whole "I'll show you more" thing. I don't understand how he had the footage of them talking about the bed. Did they reenact it? Or is it all just made up? Or was the girl acting?

Honestly, though.. < 10 minutes of show every two weeks is kind of whatever.

I'm having a hard time believing that this show has sponsorship. It's an incredibly underwhelming vlog. I'd expect to see it on youtube. There's little to no content, and what is there doesn't really reflect the kind of interests of the Rev3 viewership. I feel talked down to.

I decided to give the show another chance. I thought the purpose of the show is to rant. Why does he instead spend 7 minutes talking about hot chicks and bragging about his wife??? Sure, this show lasted longer than Mysteries of Science Explained, but at least that show featured Martin Sargent who is a favorite among many Revision3 viewers. JV is just a dick and a douche.

When the Doghouse was first on 92.3, I really couldn't stand the show at first, but I gave JV & Elvis some time and the show worked and really was picking up steam until a phone scam sketch happened to offend an, apparently, very influential Asian-American watchdog group.

I loved CTRL+ALT+Chicken, but I am a better cook than the admittedly bad cooks, and it was all in good fun anyway.

I hated all of the Martin Sargeant shows, on TechTV, G4 and Revisision 3, because I don't find most of his humor funny. Does that mean that he is incapable of doing something that I find appealing? No. It just means that he hasn't done anything that makes me laugh, yet. At this point, you can continue reading, or you can scour the forums for my posts criticizing Martin Sargeant's various shows.

Since you are still reading, let me say that I find 2 guys sitting on a couch, drinking beer, and reading the news in front of a camera to be a waste of my time. Why? Because I (being over the age of 21) can buy beer, (not living in my parent's basement) own a couch, and despite the NYC Public Education system can read the news for myself. That makes Diggnation adjective: (please fill in all of those negative comments about JV's Wolrd here).

Actually, his first show was about MTV Cribs, his second show was about the exploitation of animal, and his third show was about the whiny bitches on the Revision 3 forums that think that the entire internet is for, by, and about them (kind of like Republicans). Read it as you like, but I gaurantee that those that know I am not referring to them will go on with their lives, while those that I fully intended to offend (because they are who I was talking about) will try to make it seem like I was talking about everyone (I'll take Sarah Palin for $200, Allex).

I've gotta say...these last 3 episodes were way better than the 1st. Admittedly, it's not the same as other Rev3 shows, but I'm ok with that. The only thing I'm kinda pissed about is the cliffhanger ending. Now that I watched this episode, I've gotta watch the next...in 2 weeks.

The second episode was the only thing that contained humor. The rest has been really boring and slow.

Besides, I wasn't talking about his attempts at humor, I was talking about how he kept speaking like he was getting to some kind of a point, and then he never got to one and instead I listened to a guy draw a sentence about his personal life into an entire video that he's getting paid for.

I'm not one of those "haters," but I'm certainly not convinced yet. The meta response in episode 3 was kind of uncomfortable and pissy. He could've just recognized that most of the shows on Rev3 get positive, optimistic reviews. His show lacks a certain expectation of quality that we have come to expect, and this is indicated by the overwhelming amount of criticism he's recieved.

Of course, it's easy to get heated, and I know I've experienced similar scenarios as this. I'd just hope you'd have those kinds of temper tantrums out of your system before you're on something as big as rev3.

I think less ego and attempts to impress, and more genuinely funny clips (like the phone conversation) would really add to the show. I think you could also work on your sentence structure, word choices, and topicality a bit. There are some copy writing techniques that you're clearly not taking advantage of, and it'd dramatically improve your show. No, I'm not suggesting you stop swearing. I have the worst sailor mouth you'll hear: I'm just suggesting you learn how to express yourself in a way other than "fuck you." It's boring and repetitive.

I agree with BumPoo, JV is just a wannabe shock jock that Rev3 hired for some reason. If a episode had more than just "Hey Shit Heads!" and "I had lots of sex with girls on my red bed" it might be a alright show. He gets rid of the bed and buys a new one witch ends up having bed bugs and then they have to hire some dog to sniff em out and the whole ordeal happens during the same time some other personal shit is happening and it turns out to be a really rough couple weeks for Mr. JV. oh yeah and he's really heavy into the god thing. He did a whole hour show on it back in the day when he had the dog house radio show and was on blow.

Truno makes a great point about someone establishing a fan base and then the fans will gobble up every story about their life. Part of what his listeners love about him is that he lets them deep into the lives of all the on-air personalities. It's damn entertaining.

I can understand you not enjoying the episode since you know little about him or his relationship with Natasha. JV needs to figure something out regarding introducing himself to all the members before telling them stories about his life that will seem trivial to them.

I thought that episode was hilarious. I like that JV gives us intimate insight into his life. It's different than what most others do. I also like that the episodes aren't too long and it's kinda like a break between all the monotony of the other shows.

It's getting better (ever so slightly) - It had that natasha woman in... - that was the best thing about it.

Pretty much everything else was poor. If it's supposed to be funny, I don't get it! Still trying to give him a chance because I want it to be good, and you've told us how good he can be, but maybe he belongs on the radio... Just my opinion.

As for my thoughts on the show, I think it's a series of missteps. JV hadn't established enough to do this kind of episode. Didn't mind his (gorgeous) wife though. But I'll be watching as long as this forum is fighting.
