One of my favorite bands is Mew (http://www.mewsite.com/). Dunno how underground they are, but i've only met one person IRL that knows who they are. And that was after i introduced them to the band and forgot i did so.

my latest addictions have been starflyer 59 www.sf59.net and viva voce www.vivavoce.com very cool somewhat spacey kinda stuff... i think kevin might digg them... alex perhaps not so much
