New comic reader here, last year I got the Michael Straczynski Thor TPB. It's been a little while since I got it. When I look for the next trade, how do I ask about it? Would I just consider it as New Thor, or Michael Straczynski Thor...I don't wanna look like a complete scrub. On a side question, any good Star Wars TPB's worth looking up?

So you want to know how you go into a comic shop and ask for the trade? You can just ask for the second volume of JMS' Thor, that's usually how I see it listed on websites and such. But I recommend buying your trades online rather than at an LCS (local comic shop). You can save up to around 30% in most cases, sometimes more!! Go to instocktrades.com and search for Thor. You should get a good deal that way.

Yeah, just ask for the second volume of Straczynski's Thor. Right now it's available in hardcover, but give it a while and there will be a paperback.
As for Star Wars, I've heard good things about Star Wars Legacy, which take place in the distant future and focuses on a bounty hunter descendant of Luke Skywalker.

Star Wars Legacy is definitely where it's at. It's what got me into comics the way I am now. It's collected in trade up to issue 31 I believe and the issues are on 37 so the trades are relatively up to date. The only problem with it is that there's a story arc that spans over 4 different Star Wars series' called Vector and it'll make you want to read Knights of the Old Republic, Dark Times and Rebellion as well as Legacy, all of which are very good though.
