Hey,

I'm relatively new to comics but have recently grown an attraction towards Hawkeye. I just love the costume, image etc. I know that right now Clint is Ronin and I'm reading everything with Bullseye-Hawkeye in but I was wondering if there are any particularly good Hawkeye-related runs or trades. Trades would be preferred for easier availability.

I would greatly appreciate any help on this!

Thanks!

Brain Michael Bendis has a huge man crush on Hawkeye. So for better or for worse, read NA or SI for Clint Barton action.

There was this time where he played a Doctor in a M.A.S.H. unit in Vietna.. oh wait. Wrong Hawkeye.

Yeah, I have read really good stories that hawkeye was a part of, but they were far from "Hawkeye" stories. It's actually somehting I find is usually true of Wolverine. If you ask somebody for a great Wolverine story, it is rarely a story he is the sole star of. 90% of them are X-Men stories.

Care to name any of them? Are any collected in trade? I don't really mind if Hawkeye doesn't play a lead role, i just want a good story with Hawkeye-Clint involved as nothing coming out has that at the moment.

Thanks. :)

Isn't there some sort of rule against promoting personal websites on the forum? ;) Seriously though, thanks Josh. Missed that letter column a while back. Looks like I have a few trades to add to my reading list.

Oh my God!!! Josh said something good about Clint as Ronan. I'll have to get a winter coat for when I die.

Just to have someone point it out, "New Avengers: The Reunion" is very much the spiritual successor to a 4-issue Limited Series written and illustrated by the late Mark Gruenwald back in 1983. The story was re-printed in TPB form years ago (which I only know because I found it in a Half Price Books a few months back).

The Limited Series covers his first meeting with Mockingbird and their rather speedy courtship.
