First off for those who have yet to see the shows; start here on episode 3 (http://vimeo.com/4923926) for a shorter "draw you in" episode, then move backwards from ep2 to 1.
Overall
the show is packed with a plethora of random knowledge, past experiences, ideas, and general discussion that kept my attention every second of each show. Tim and Kevin's synergy is undeniable, Kevin has just as much enthusiastic input as Tim does. Tim comes off as being worldly and I was instantly drawn to his chill yet alert attitude. Kevin is down to earth and highly relateable. Both communicate very clearly regardless of whatever they may be talking about, seeing as how they are both come from a entrepreneurship world that they live day to day. I would love to see this show on revision3.
To critique the episodes a bit:
Personally I liked episode 2 the most of the 3.
Episode 1 ("entrepreneurs") was a bit long winded, not in terms of time, but with overall words per minute being spoken. I realize the topic was very personal and you guys got deeply into the discussion, but overall it could of used some pauses in the dialog, or of been more relaxed and slowed down a bit. I loved the conversation, and all the various aspects that surround entrepreneurship, but 32 solid minutes with no topic tangents was a bit much.
Episode 2 ("week in review") seemed just right, with the conversation casually flowing from topic to topic. The surroundings were nice, I like them a lot more than a standard couch. This episode is the type of direction I would like to see the show go in.
Episode 3 ("top 5 books") the "segment" aspect of this episode was very insightful and entertaining, but it doesn't promote cross talk and tangents (which I love about the whole show). Perhaps pick and choose some various topics and make them into "segments", where each of you have your separate self discussions on said topic. Then these segments could be put into a normal episode.
Ideas for show names:
"Fountain Of Knowledge" (FOK!)
"Good Info" (thats some good info)
"Random Flow" (it takes the Random name and makes it less generic. While making the name an oxymoron and thus ironic)
Ideas for upcoming episodes:
-casually browse a local electronics store or general shopping store and discuss anything that comes to be.
-a fire-side chat, lawl.
-discuss your favorite websites
-visit local San Franciscan friends, tech geeks, entrepreneurs, or anyone you might find interesting and start a discussion evolving around what that person does (sort of like having a guest on the show, only where the two of you are the guest)
