Old Email Address - expired?! Now what?

My first account at Rev3 was registered with my college email address. Now that I have graduate, the school has disable my account. I would like to keep the same username (although was forced to make a new one to get access to the forum) - but forgot my password and the "forgot your password?" option just sends you an email (to my now discontinued address)...

what are the options at this point?

ask your collega administrator to activate email again for one week,
im 'edu' site admin and i have request like this everyday
