How can you change/modify the Start task bar??? Sorry but I'm not a computer wiz but I'm learning!! Thanks in advance!!
What exactly do you mean by change/modify? You can change a few things by right clicking on it and going into the properties.

i use a program called "style xp". it's not free, but i find that it works very well, and many free themes and styles are available online (www.bfarber.com). with style xp you can totally alter the way windows looks and feels, or change just what you want.
if you do try it out, i'd recommend having at least 512M of ram if not 1G.

??? Why would it only be on vista? He wants to go from XP to a Vista-ish theme... Have you not seen the default Vista theme before?

I downloaded it for free and worked great. My computer runs Windows XP Media Center Edition. Basically its a "Vista" skin for you desktop.

I downloaded the cool vista transformation and everyhting seemed to change except for the actula start tab, wtf?
