1 vs 100

awe man If you haven't tried this on your xbox dude your missing out. I had a party of like 10 people and we where having a blast playing 1 vs 100.

for those that don't know it's a game show on xbox live. the scenario is out of the tens of thousands of players online 100 get picked to be in the mob. 1 person gets to be "the one" in a game show style the one gets asked questions his goal is to beat the mob. every time a member of the mob gets a wrong answer they are dropped. so question 1 it'll be 1 vs 100. question 2 it'll be 1 vs 89 or how ever many members of the mob got the answer right. every round the one gets awarded Microsoft points. the more members of the mob get the question wrong the more points he gets. If the one gets a question wrong the Microsoft points are split amongst the remaining mob members. Now there are certain thresh holds that if the one passes he is asked if he'd like to keep going or just take the money he has earned thus far and call it quits if he decides to keep going and gets a wrong answer he looses everything.

has anyone played this yet. what you think about it?

i play it everytime there is a live show, its so much fun. My friends and I have a blast we stock up on snacks and energy drinks and have good ole time.

It is a total blast, and I love playing it with my brother. The 30-minute shows are a bit of a wash on most weeknights (the fan-submitted questions are occasionally waaaaaay too hard), but the Friday and Saturday LIVE shows are awesome. Having it be free, and now with the ability to win prizes, its awesome.

I just found out how rad this game actually is. I kept seeing the beta on the dashboard, but I figured they were just trying to push some crappy game show port. The whole idea of the live show is fantastic and I'm excited as hell to try it out.

I play every chance/bit of free time that I get. I've only played a couple of the live shows, but I jump into the "extended play" all the time. I wish that the Friday night "show" was a bit earlier and the Saturday night "show" was a bit later...

I'm glad you all are checking it out.

Oh, I almost forgot...I realise that the game is still in beta, but I have already seen some of the questions get repeated.

I so end up spending at least 1 or 2 nights a week playing. seriously TRS guys should check it... It's so fun. But i always get mad when someone takes the money lol.. I'm a greedy bitch.

Trivia is totally my thing, so I had been playing the extended play beta for a while and actually got into the top 3 scores. Thinking I had won an XBLA game, I was pretty excited... that is until I read the Official Rules:

This Challenge is void in Connecticut, Iowa, Maryland, and Vermont, and wherever else prohibited by law.

Needless to say, that made me pretty angry, and I haven't been back since. I'll probably play again eventually since I really did have fun, but I'll always have it in the back of my mind that even if I win, I lose. :mad:
