I saw a trailer for a movie sometime between 2006-2008 and I need to find the title.
It was a slightly independent film, like Fox Searchlight or Focus Feature, something like that.
It looked like a college-age guy was a film student and needed inspiration and meets an older man who mentors him, like "Finding Forrester" for film makers.
Can anyone help find this? Thanks.

Got anymore details?
I'm nuts about answering those "what movie was this" questions.
While we're at it.....
There's some movie that I saw a trailer for... The movie probably isn't even that good, but a college professor is stunned when his wife asks for a divorce and he has nowhere to live. He's probably in his early 40's and he tells his students about his predicament and one of his students, a female tells him that he can move in with her. There is also another female roommate and there is a scene where he is about to have sex with the student and the other girl walks in and it turns into a 3some. He kinda has a relationship with both women....I think one woman was a blonde and the other may have been a redhead.
I swear it's not a porno. The guy looks very clean cut kinda like a KEvin Kline or something. Saw it on a preview for a new movie about a year ago. I have asked a ton of people about this. It's no longer even about the movie as much as finding out what it was.
Any help?
