It looks like August 18th is the day everyone should mark their calendars, for the EPIC first season of the greatest TV show ever to grace my own personal television screen will be coming home to my house in beautiful HD.

Yup, Sons of Anarchy Season 1 is coming out in just a few weeks, on Blu-ray and DVD.
You thought I was gonna say The Shield, didn't you? Well, I love The Shield (thanks, Jeff), but Sons of Anarchy's first season far surpasses that of The Shield. I have no reason to believe that the trend won't continue for season 2 (starting in September!) and beyond.
And so, hopefully the TRS guys will pick up a legal copy and give it a fair shake.
