What was up with Alex's line of questions

What was up with Alex asking Kevin if there was any romance when he talking about hanging out with Sarah Lane in episode 76?

I thought Sarah was recently happily married. After listening to the episode it sounded like Sarah was divorced and potentially available for Kevin.

After checking her website http://sarahlane.typepad.com/ it appears that nothing could be further from the truth.

Am I missing something here?

If I am correct, Kevin was stating about great ideas and the great idea he was reffering to was Digg, when Digg was started he still worked for TechTV on The Screen Savers as did Sarah Lane. At the time they were dating, if you read the Wikipedia article on Digg (it might even be on Kevin Rose) it states that Kevin lost his girlfriend in the process of creating Digg, my guess is that was Sarah and thus he was simply reffering to past events not current ones.

I think we listened to different podcasts, at no point in time during this topic did I think he was talking about digg.

He said something to the effect..."you know how sometimes you just fit with someone and everything works." and the Alex made a Lincoln log analogy. He was talking about his relationship past and present with Sarah. Alex also asked in one way or another if there was any romance or if they hooked up.

While all of this makes perfect sense and isn't outrageous, it does seem like a highly unusual conversation to be having about an ex-girlfriend who is now married.

i thought he was just bustin' kevin's balls. it was kevin's answers that i thought were funny. i've done the same thing to my friends. it's fun.

as for if anything actually happened or not, i really could not care less. l'm not that interested in mr. rose's nor mr. albrecht's poitics, religious beliefs nor romantic lives.
