I'm talking about the MAX series. Didn't read the rest yet. Are they just cameos/side characters? Is it any good? Thanks.

Sadly Supreme Power the awesome Max title is the only good one. After they leave for a normal Marvel title all is subpar. So to answer your question, no, Ult. Power isn't even good if your reading Squadron or the Ultimate U. Nothing compares to Supreme Power.
