Also in the article (http://www.newsarama.com/comics/070928-forjustice1.html) Newsarama lists Vixen and Congorilla in the team. You can also notice a bow and arrows so I'm guessing Red or Green Arrow.

Isn't Robinson just using his Cry For Justice team? Or are some members of that team merging with the "JLA Proper?"

I actually have nothing to add to this, I just wanted to say you have the coolest avatar in the history of the internet.

I believe this is also why Cry for Justice became a mini series. The Cry team looks to be taking over JLA but with a sprinkle of carryover characters. Already Vixen was confirmed.

Meh. I don't think Robinson has written anything I'd consider to be more than average since he's become so prominent again. And half this team bores me already. Hope I'm wrong though. Oh, and the silhouette under Batman is obviously Starfire.

The team may bore you know, but remember, there really are no boring characters, only boring writers. ANY character can be interesting or dynamic if the right writer has a good take on them. This may not be my ideal JLA team, but I' definitely going to give it a chance with an open mind. I think I may be in a for a pleasant surprise.

I don't like the idea of Starfire being on this team.
Something about this line-up screams "temporary". I know all teams are temporary, but I can't see a big, healthy run with this team.
I hope I'm wrong and that it's great, but I have to wonder.

There's no such thing as bad characters, I know, I adhere to that to rule myself, but there's also a bunch of characters with inherent traits that make them hard to become interesting sometimes. See where we got with McDuffie's team (editorial problems aside, they were just so bland together). I'm more of a "Big 7 plus a few interesting side characters" kind of guy, not a "League of substitutes" person. I also happen to think the worst thing about the Green Lantern book right now is Hal Jordan though, because he's as vanilla as your next typical square jawed hero, so take that as you will. :)
Mostly though, I just think Robinson is putting out nothing but average right now, so it'd be hard to win me over for this lineup anyways.

ill take Dick Grayson Batman, Mon-El, Hal Jordan, Donna Troy, Congorilla and whoever else. Seems like Titans JLA mixed together team experiment.

I mostly agree with you here. I think certain characters have to be on a team to make the team seem "legit." If you don't have Wolverine, Storm and Nightcrawler, you aren't the X-Men. If you don't have Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor, you aren't the Avengers. (I don't care what bendis says. If your line-up is Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Doctor Strange, you aren't the Avengers, you are the Defenders.) And a JLA team for me needs Superman, Batman, Wonder-Woman and Martian Manhunter. But with that not really being a possibility, I guess I'll just have to deal.
And I also agree that the first issue of Cry For Justice didn't really blow me away. it was kind of a "been there, done that, building the team" issue. I just got the sense I had read that same issue over and over. But still, i think once the initial story-line of the creation of the team is done, there is a lot of potential there. I'll stick around for the time being.

Unless we're talking silver age "big 7" have always bored me. So this seems right up my alley it also plays nicely into the legacy thing DC's got going on. Plus this could also see the return of Barry Allen to the JLA. Also if the arrow shadow is Ollie than GL/GA together is always a bonus.

Looks like it's going to be a mix of the Titans and the Satalite League. Should be interesting to see, but yeah, it probably won't last for long--I mean, aren't Johns and Jim Lee supposed to be doing a JLA run or something?

They are not. That was a Rich Johnston rumor.

Well Robinson's JLA lineup has been revealed (http://blog.newsarama.com/2009/09/17/hey-its-time-to-dissect-the-justice-league-roster-again/). Its also been revealed in Blackest Night #3.
This lineup works perfectly with legacy/backup replacement idea thats been sweeping the DCU.
