I just update my flash player to 10.0.32,18, which is the security update out today (July 30), and when I streamed Tekzilla, I recieved a drop down saying my version isn't the latest and to update.
Any idea what's going on?

along with that post, im getting the same issue here. Im on firefox. Strangely enough my work computer has the same issue on Rev3. Beyond that, i cant see video on that flash player at all.
for now, Im fetching the files and playing them while its downloading with VLC, which makes firefox give off an error when it notices someone is using the file and it cant delete it. Thats anoying, if anyone has a better way to see the MP4 vids.
Im on win7. Please refrain from answering with Apple, virgin, comcast, God, or the KKK.
(yes, that last one was a joke.)
Edit: apparently AdBlock slapped revision3's player for advertising and now it doesn't work. You might as well fix it or user experience will shatter down drastically. I had already thought about what i would do if a website i liked found a way to stop the site from working if someone was using AdBlock, the original idea was to stop using the site. According to you guys its not your fault, but either way, it has the same effect. Im not disabling adblock, or adding an exception.

Edit yet again: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/54779 I updated the DivX webplayer so that you can play shit without the annoying flash player. They should seriously use WMV wrapped H264's and use the IIS streaming server to give you the video at the maximum quality possible taking your hardware and bandwidth into concideration. Demo here: http://www.iis.net/media/experiencesmoothstreaming
EDIT3: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/54799 made one for quicktime that plays the full HD version.

Just updated to that latest Flash version, and am able to reproduce the erroneous "outdated version" warning too. We're on it... fix should be released soon (probably Monday at this point). Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks dude. How about fixing the script issue with AdBlock, wouldn't renaming the script work? or better yet, make it dinamically rename its self. Its a quick fix for now...

The scripts in question are loaded directly from their provider, so that's not possible. Our player relies on those scripts for a lot more features besides just the ad serving, so you really want them enabled.
While I agree on principle that sites should not break with AdBlock enabled, and it's an unfortunate problem which has surfaced with their most recent update, it's not something we can feasibly fix anytime soon.
I don't see the problem with adding a simple exception in AdBlock for revision3.com until the problem gets resolved. The ways you're suggesting to circumvent our player will cause more problems than they will solve in the long run.

ok then, if this script is so integrated into the site then i can see how it would be a pain to change it. Disregarding the fact that so much inte gration means that the site is unflexible and non-modular, why not remove the ads from that script and add a new script that places the ads as an overlay ontop of the video, it is possible (i am a flash programmer).
Edit: dude, i could prolly fix this over the weekend on my side of things, it's not so hard. This comes from a programmer.

It's not a matter of difficulty, it's a matter of ownership. It's not our script.

Ic what your saying. Still in the meanwhile we could just do some cleanup work by adding a script after it... its a workaround to improve the user experience until we get that solved out.
