Okay, is ANYONE else here as pisses as I am about Zito going to the ****ing Giants?! What the hell gives with that? Only a traitor goes to the enemy of his team. He was my favorite player in all of sports, noit just baseball, and now I hope he jumps off the Golden Gate or something. Better, I wish the current owners of the A's would do that.

Is the rivalry between the CA teams on the same level as the Red Sox and Yankees?

Is the rivalry between the CA teams on the same level as the Red Sox and Yankees? What rivalry? If you aren't playing for the Dodgers or the Angels, then you might as well be playing minor league in California. OK, I know the A's beat the Angels in their division by 4 games ... but if the season had been just that little longer ... the A's had only won 4 of their last 10 games, compared to 7 or the Angels. The Angels just took a little longer to hit their stride again last season.
BUT, expect a big '07 from them this time around :)

It's all about money these days. There's no more loyalty between players and organizations. As an Angels fan, I'm glad he's gone.

Thank you!
Now as for the baseball rant, when favorite player leaves for money and to a rival no less, well that's bad.
When Damon defected from the Sox to the Yankees it was all the sportscasters talked about at games. When Damon made his first appearance in center field at Fenway in Yankee pin stripes fans through cash at him
