Okay so not too long ago I started watching the full video podcasts on zune instead of my laptop. More notably I have been rewatching the "wolverine" episode several times. Afterwards I began reading my weekly comics only to realize that the voice of Wolverine... in my head is really Cathal J. Dodd's voice from the popular 1992 X-men animated series(much like how many people read with Batman's voice as Kevin Conroy). Anywho my bias aside:

Who sounds most like Wolverine? (vote above)

Cathal J. Dodd (from: X-men Animated Series 1992)
Scott McNeil (from: X-men Evolution 2000)
Steve Blum (from: Wolverine and the X-men 2009)

*Steve Blum has been known to carry alternative names fyi.

edit: yes, I completely ignored placing the australian wolverine... and for those of you who would have voted for him, I truly apologize...

(b-b-but he's from canada for god's sake!)

My VHS copy of "Pryde of the X-Men" is disappointed in your snubbing.

(...and as I write this, I suddenly realize I'm not sure if the 'Australian' Wolverine you're referencing was the Pryde version, or Hugh Jackman.)

I love Steve Blum and everything he does, but he was obviously taking a page from Cathal J. Dodd with his Wolverine voice. He's the voice I've always heard in my head whenever I read Wolverine, no matter how hammy and silly it sounds.

I'll go with Blum, because, from what I've seen, he's the only one who really was able to do more then just the usual "GRRR I'M AN ANIMAL RAAA" voice that comes to mind. Thought that might be more from the writers then the actor, though.

I vote D) Conor in iFanboy episode #194. That throaty, raspy, "I was up all night and I don't remember a goddamn thing" voice he had going just needed a "SNIKT!" and a "Nuff Said." to finish it off.

Blum definitely seems to nail the voice for Logan. I'll always remember the other voice actors for what they did. But the recent v/o sounds much more like from what I expect for Logan.

I am a really big fan of the old x-men series that use to come on fox. As such i voted for Cathal J. Dodd
