its true..its says its going to be chris yost on issue five and six. But it says guest writer so I guess Dini is gonna come back on.
chris yost is the red robin writer right now right?
Yep, Yost is on Red Robin right now

I was going to drop after this issue anyway, but it just got way easier.
Well, that's not so bad. Yost is doing a pretty good job on Red Robin and it sounds like, Dini will be back. Maybe he's taking time to prep the Zatanna book that I read about in CSN...

I won't dismiss the title yet. Besides I like Yost's work on Red Robin.

I feel like I should stop someone from reading an X-Book to even out the universe :P Are you not digging Streets of Gotham?

He's been prepping up for that comic book for years. :)

I was hoping this would be more of a crime book about Gordon and the cops in Gotham, but it's just more Batman stories, and I'm already reading Batman & Robin. Not worth 4 bucks a month.

I want it to be more about the cops as well. I'm actually thinking of picking up the Gotham Central trades since I never read it the first time around.

It's pretty much just what detective comics was, and for me, thats enough.

Yeah Dini did pitch it in a way that you would think that we were going to get less Batman. Although I'm enjoying this more than some of the other Batman books. Who knows maybe Yost will do that when he hops on for how ever long he's on.

DC definitely swerved everyone while promoting this book. Even with the name "Streets of Gotham". It doesn't matter, though. I loved Dini's stories in Detective Comics, and I'm glad to see that the story is continued in this book.

But what about the co-feature?!?!?!?!?!? I loves me some Manhunter...
