Ok, I was just fitted for a Tux this afternoon. I didn't realize I was that big! I knew my waste was big and I am out of shape.
But, my chest is 50". 50! I was working for a huge upper body for a long time. I knew I lost the muscle and have began to get some back, with a new and labor intensive job. (I also had a 19+ inch neck, that is now 17 and a half, and arms that were 19 and a half and now, I dunno, not.)
I am thinking back to my trainer saying, "You have to decide now, be cut at this size or be BIG forever." Of course I thought I would maintain it forever. So, I went for it. But without trying, it came back. But a 50" chest measurement? I was 44" at my other Brothers' wedding. I thought I was big then. (11 years ago.)
Even the guy measuring me today asked, "How does this coat fit so well around your neck, but you have no shoulders?" I made mistakes.
My question is, Is anyone else getting old like this? Is it this weird for everyone? What you aimed for became a shot against you?
This getting old thing is just weird.
