Ive noticed recently that InDigital has become censored and that on the latest episode of Web Drifter there was some censorship on some parts (if you dont know what I am talking about then watch it... watch it a lot...) and I assume this is probably up to the individual shows as to what is censored if anything (IE Diggnation Inefected not at all Web Drifter UK Standards InDigital typically S&P) but I would really like a NSFW version of both the shows and the forums. I mean really the ones not censored wouldnt take any extra time at all. So all in favour please sign below.

I'm definitely with you, I'm against censorship of any kind, regardless of the medium it reaches people. Music, Video and anything else should be available in it's entirety and original version.

I like your idea, but what I like most is the uncensored forums part, because its kind of annoying when everything is censored here.

For a show like Indigital/Pixel perfect I am for the censor as it's supposed to be a more professional tech info/review show ..for a show like Diggnation infected or something it's better the way they are now uncensored and more about fun.

let me restate what I think you are saying...

Indigital/pixel perfect should never have to censor. i.e. there shouldn't be any NSFW content on it.

The other shows diggnation/infected should be uncensored... although I kind of liked the fact that on diggnation they censored the Miss Nevada pics. Keep the "nips" out of the show, plus you can jsut go view the story if you really want to see it.

Guys,

Censorship is a part of today's culture. As Ryudo said, this is meant to be a professionally-produced tech show, and I think they do a great job with that. Censoring some of the bad content allows a show to be open to a larger audience. Additionally, there are some advertisers who may not want to advertise on a show if all it is, is "f*ck this, f*ck that" all the time.

Yeah sorry but that wont fly for me. InDigital uses one of the same sponsors as Infected and Diggnation which those shows are pretty much fu*k this and fu*k that. And if you are going to curse on the show (Will Wheaton) then dont censor it. If you want a show that doesnt say fu*k then just dont say it. Dont have your host say it and censor it later.

Censorship maybe a part of our culture but in the past and even present racism was and is as well, that didnt make it right did it/does it?

Yeah, I'm not buying it. I can gurantee you that Rev3s target audiance could care less about "bad words", becuase they use them everyday themselves. And the sponsers don't seem to mind either.

I thought Rev3 was all about moving away from traditional TV, so why are you following the PTC/FCCs rules?

Anyone remember when cable first came out? It was suppose to be uncensored then of course it got commercialized too much and you cant upset the sponsors consumers right?

Then Digital Cable, the commercial free uncensored capital of your TV... well not anymore. And last but least the Internet. Now, dont get me wrong the Net will never be censored like Cable is, but it is a lot "safer" place then it was at the turn of the Millenium
