Hi guys,
I'm sure there are LOADS of threads hereabouts on the subject of headphones, but I think my query is a bit unique, so I'm being an ignorant little *&$! and starting my own thread. For those of you who don't care why I want to ask a question, skip the bit in brackets to make a long story short.
(I spend over 9 hours a week spinning on my bike using a turbo trainer (which is something that turns a bike into an exercise bike) and either watching Rev3 shows or listening to music. I've had the same pair of Sennheiser HD202s for a few years now and they've withstood gallons of sweat.
I own a pair of Grado SR80's but the pads on those look like they'd just go crusty when filled with sweat.
Today I've bought a pair of Sennheiser HD595s and they seem to have a velvet-like padding. They're not exactly dirt cheap and I don't want to ruin them, which is why I'll stick with the HD202s for now.) My sweat has corroded many bike parts and always leaves salty stalectites...maybe it's something in the water!
What's the best pair of headphones which have a faux-leather casing on the padding that will just let sweat run off it? Money not an option. Headphone amp and USB DAC already sorted, so high impedence also not an issue.
