Anyone have some thoughts on it? I finally got around to playing the game (I'm about 3 hours in and I'm really liking it). I intend to watch the animated feature as well, and was curious about the quality of the comic. It's not an adaptation, right? It's an new story set in the game universe? I am a fan of work by both the creators (Mitten for Wasteland and Templesmith for Fell), but am concerned as adaptations are very hit-and-miss.

The comic is a prequel to the game so it's a new story, not the one told in the game, but linked obviously. It tells the story of how the 'things' came about and what happened when there were people aboard this ship and weird stuff started happening. Don't want to give too much away. Just it's fucking awesome.

I bought it on a whim one day because... well, I liked the cover :D. Half way through I was like "this would make a great game" only to see the game advertisement at the back!

This comic got me into Ben Templesmith and Anthony Johnson. And has been my screen name ever since :D

It's good, my local library had it, so I borrowed it. Nice painted art, it's a prequel to the video game.

Awesome, thanks guys.
And yes, it was Johnson, not Mitten. Got them mixed up.
Do you know if it should be read before/after watching the prequel movie? Or do they cover the same ground?
