Hey all!

I co-host a movie review show called Movies You May Have Missed.
We've released 16 episodes so far, gotten some good feedback, and are getting our own domain setup.

We're in the process of working out a t-shirt sponsor, and getting some goodies to start giving away. I've seen some great feedback on these forums, and was hoping you could check us out, offer up some constructive criticisms, help us make the show the best we can.

Here are my three favorite episodes (where we're really nailing the style I think we should have):

Episode 7: Primer (http://mymhm.squarespace.com/blog/2009/6/24/mymhm07-its-time-to-check-out-primer.html)

Episode 12: [Rec] with guest host Yuri Lowenthal (http://mymhm.squarespace.com/blog/2009/7/29/12-yuri-lowenthal-scares-us-with-rec.html)

Episode 16: Intacto (http://mymhm.tv/blog/2009/8/26/16-get-lucky-with-intacto.html)

Any comments appreciated!

We pretty much only talk about movies LOL...

Aronofsky is rad. We'll definitely be covering him on the show at some point.
Thanks for the list. I've seen all but The Pillow's Book and My Summer of Love. I'll add them to our watch list!

I watched the episode on "Intacto" and I think you guys have a great format going on. I like that its a really informal setting in that you are both on a couch at your computers, and I especially enjoy the banter the two of you have in the show.

One thing I would maybe say is to talk about 2 movies per episode, just because some people may have no interest in one, but they may about the other one...so if you have contrasting film styles in one episode that would be great!

I like the two of you, and i definitely look forward to more stuff from that show. You are right about the fact that you have your style down. I think people watching this show would definitely watch for your personality at first, over the content. But great content is a necessity.

Surprisingly, not a lot of people I know have seen the movie "bella" which I believe came out last year, and I loved it. So much better than some of the crap out there right now. I'd love to see someone talk about that movie!

Thanks Lexi!

You're the third person in as many days to mention Bella. It may be time to bump it up the list.

We've debated our format in terms of number of films, and I think we're looking to stay on the "time sensitive" side. We are looking at playing with the format though, and we should have a couple episodes that play with a theme where we'll cover more than one film per episode.

We're also looking at expanded features like "actors/directors you may have missed" and movie marathons.

Our podcast award nomination has kinda kicked our butts a little, which is good. Having just broke a half million hits this month is giving us the motivation to actually go out and look at expanding the show a little.

These suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!

Yeah, i was just gonna say, congrats on the nomination! I saw you guys here first, and then i looked at the podcast awards as a separate thing and just randomly saw that you were on the list. So obviously you are doing something right.

You are very entertaining to watch, and I think you have your niche all figured out so kudos!

I'll try to respond every once in a while on your site with some suggestions. I love foreign films and am usually the person among my group of friends who watches obscure films that no one has seen, so i will definitely hit you up later!
