All I can say is I hope it doesn't last long.

I really don't want to be lead around on ridiculous side stories for 10 seasons before they ever get to the real goal of the story.

2 seasons max. That would still stretch the 6 month deadline out to an enjoyable level. If it takes 4+ seasons to move 6 months, I'll stop watching.

i'm 20 minutes into the first episode, the first "event" is still unfolding.

it's very interesting, but it'd be a pretty great feat for it to stay this interesting for the long run.

i have to say also that i hope that it *ends* at some point. i hope the story is planned out, and it's not like Lost where the story just goes on endlessly and they make it up as they go along

i'm watching the second episode now. they're dancing dangerously close to the CSI thing - they're analyzing a video and they're like "CAN YOU ENHANCE IT ANY FURTHER?" and then "we're sending it to the NSA for further analysis!"
