Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere

Does anyone know which program is better to use for video editing?
Sony Vegas 7 or Adobe Premiere Pro

neither is really better...the right tool for the right job...but i think Premiere is A LOT better

I would also choose premier, but a good friend of mine edits a tonne and he uses Sony Vegas and can't use anything else. He does admit that it's just because it's what he learned first though. Again I would go with premier, but I rarely edit much at the moment.

Adobe Premier Elements 2.0

I went along with Adobe Premiere. Now I'm getting After Effects 7.0 and I'm hoping I can remap like I learned with 5.5 back in the day.
