I just saw the latest Tekzilla episode and i updated to Snow. I used to run bootcamp but hardly went to windows. So now i want to install windows 7 and i want to do it using Vmware or Parralels. Witch is the best? Last time i used a virtuall desktop i used Vmware casue paralles sucked. Now ive been looking and paralles has come a long way.

So Paralles or Vmware?

I have a unibody 2.4ghz macbook with 4gb of ram

I have been happy with VirtualBox. Its free!

On a side note I would like to see Tekzilla run some benchmarks between the three to see which is the fastest.

I would like to be able to play some counterstrike and i dont mind paying for vmware or paralles. I did bootcamp before but i found myself hardly using windows since i had to restart every time. I know that would be the best way for video games

To be honest if your going to run games then you should bootcamp. I have a macbook pro and when i try to run VMware with windows 7 the graphics go crazy. Bootcamp would be easier, but if your not too crazy about doing that then just use VMware. Its much better than parallels. Hope this helped

It's a pain to switch I know but honestly, bootcamp will work best by far for games.

...if you really want to use it, I'd also choose VMWare.
