Ive got this desktop that sometimes boots up and other times i get this media test failure prompt. the hard drive is not bad because I plugged it into my other desktop and it works fine. it`s a sata drive and a lenovo 3000 k100 desktop. any ideas as to what the issue is?
Update: so a bios flash and CMOS clear later and the problem seems to have solved itself. I also hooked up that drive to my other desktop and ran a virus scan from my desktop and found some pretty nasty bugs in there.
