Annoying login problem

I'm using FF3.5 and whenever I go direct to the TRS forum and enter my details in the top right to login, I get redirected to the main revision3.com rather than staying on the TRS forum which is where I want to be. Can someone please fix this as it's been bugging me for months now.

Are you using a proxy, or any sort of referer-hiding add-ons? Can't reproduce any problems with this... logging in should always send you back to the page you logged-in from, assuming your browser is reporting that information correctly.

No proxy or referer-hiding add-ons I'm aware of. I also get redirected when logging in using IE7. So it's not a browser specific problem. Also tried it on two different systems and from different internet connections and it happens everytime on both systems.

Can you try something for me?

While not logged in, navigate to any random page on the normal website (outside of the forums) and click the login link in the header, then log in on that page. For example, the TRS show page. Do you get redirected back to the page you clicked "login" from, or to the homepage?

Logging in from http://revision3.com/trs also redirects me to revision.com rather than the trs page.

Very odd... when you click the link below, does it correctly list the URL of this discussion as the referring URL? It sounds like either someone changed the settings on your computer, or your ISP is blocking the referer data... or something like that.

Those both look correct. Not sure what else to tell you, other than that it works great for me from several test setups... which is admittedly never fun to hear. But I'm all out of ideas why it's not redirecting properly post-login for you.
