Last Saturday I was at a friends birthday party and decided to test a few out!
First a few of the matchstick puzzles with her dad and uncle... some fun and a few laughs
then a few card tricks and the people started to gather, most went really good
then I got a guy to bang his head on the table, 5 times, in the middle of the room! Everybody busted out laughing when they saw it happen! Big success! There is a grainy cellphone video... I'll see if I can post it!
Later on I checked my change, grabbed one of my friends, and did the trick that fooled Einstein.
The bewildered look on his face was priceless!
Another friend asked for a trick he had never seen before. I said I would try to think of one, went to the kitchen and got my buddy from the last trick, and explained to help me pick up the guy (arms straight out under the armpits). Now even I was skeptic but the guy had NO IDEA. We even did it again, and still no clue! He even started making excuses, that I was bigger then him... bla bla bla
I really do recommend that one! It worked so well!
Failure: The key card trick and only because the mom had to be a smart-ass and didn't place the card back in correctly!
Greatest victory: When the prettiest girl there, wanted to show ME her trick!
It didn't matter that I knew the trick and had seen it described as "the trick everyone learns in kindergarten" Hell I don't even know if she pulled the right card.
Who cares!!!! I was being shown a trick by the prettiest girl in the room!
I made sure to be really interested and acted really amazed when she flipped over my card!
All in all it was the most fun I had in a long time!
