I am sad to know that there will no longer be regular episodes of Systm. I am very glad to know it will continue on as a part of Tekzilla, but it just doesn't seem like it will be the same.

I think I am somewhat nostalgic about the whole thing because it seems Systm is the show that really started it all. Maybe I am wrong, but it was the first web-based show I had ever seen that made me think real shows made by small producers might really be able to thrive on the internet. It opened my mind to the entire idea of webcasts. Frankly, I thought it was brilliant.

I love Tekzilla, I think it's phenomenal. But for me, the apparent demise of Systm seems as much the end of an era as did the end of Tech TV.

Maybe I am making much ado about nothing, but I felt I needed to share my feelings on the subject.

You do realize that there is a section in the "archived shows" section that is still getting fresh postings, long after Patrick and Jim put a stake through the heart of Systm. The forum software typically shows about 100 folks still in that section, which is quite wierd given how dead the show is.

As I've posted there, I grok that Patrick doesn't have time for it, but a monthly show with either of the Davids or a new host would be nice.

If you or anyone sees any evidence of Systm actually becomming a part of Tekzilla, please let me know - haku@haku.co.uk - I would dearly like to see some DIY content on Rev3 again.

You are a dreamer. Mr Norton didn't like how much time Systm took away from his being a TV star. It required actual preparation time.
