The laptop's right LCD hinge (the part connecting the base to the LCD) has broken off. The LCD still works as the cable to the LCD is fine. The laptop isn't under warranty so what do you guys think it would cost to replace such an piece?

Maybe you should look around for LCD hinges? They seem to be around $30-$60. You can find them on Ebay or websites like this:

And if that doesn't work, congratulations, you have a new desktop :D.
