What the hell happend to Jim Gordans son. Is he not part of the continuity? Hes year but he seems to have dissapeared! Did they just forget about him? I know this isnt a question most bat fans would ask but its just something that bugs me...

James Gordon Jr. was in Batman Year One and the Dark Knight movie. Both are not in continuity. Miller has stated that Batman: Year One exists in the same continuity as the other storylines in his "Dark Knight Universe", consisting of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, its sequel Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again, Spawn/Batman, All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder, and the upcoming Holy Terror, Batman!. So to make up what happens to JGJ... He grew up hating what his father did for a living and became a lawyer in Metropolis. Sadly, he developed ulcers due to the stress of constant villain attacks.

DC has said before that Year One is in continuity--just not his other work. Also, I believe he's said that Holy Terror no longer stars Batman.

I'm not sure if it's in continuity, but him and Barbara (Gordon's wife) left Gotham due to the stress of being there, among other things, in Night Cries.
