For anyone who prefers the 360's controller over the PS3's you can get a Rocketfish Rapid Fire. To bad it that it has a shoulder button spacing flaw, as you can see in this video from Joystiq. Everything else seemed good.

I have always found the placement of the sticks on the Dualshock controllers makes them uncomfortable to use. The natural position of your thumb in an 'open fist' lines up with the middle knuckle of your pointer finger. Pre-control sticks, the D-pad was the focus and it got this position. When Sony added them in, they stuck them on the bottom and kept the rest of the controller the same. I think that now, given that control sticks are far more commonly used than the D-pad, Sony should reverse the position like every other controller. Put the control sticks in knuckle position, Sony!

I dunno. That controller looks awfully uncomfortable. Honestly, even though I have a 360 as my primary console, I grew up with Sony consoles. I don't have a problem with the PS3 controller. But I am curios what Alex would think of it since he does have issues with the PS3 controller.

If Alex ever did get this or a modded 360 controller, what would he then bitch about? Oh Yeah Updates!

I sure as hell hope they never do that.

I like the symmetrical design of the DualShock, and having staggered sticks would just be retarded. The majority of the time you play a shooter, you don't even use the face buttons, so your right thumb would be staggered all the time. It doesn't make sense. Maybe if you have small hands you would want the sticks closer to the edges of the controller, but I find it horribly unnatural to use my Xbox controller, which is why I have a DualShock-to-Xbox adapter (actually, three of them). It makes games actually playable. My DualShocks sit in my hands with my thumbs on the sticks very comfortably. I can play for hours and hours and not experience any discomfort whatsoever. Playing on my friend's 360 makes me feel like a gimp. It's down to what you are used to and what you prefer.

There should be (and are) options available for people who don't like the controller for a specific system, but just changing something that already works extremely well and has been proven over what? like 20 years, because a few people don't like it is just silly. The controller is a big reason why I chose the PS3 over the 360.

put a concave on the PS3 Stick controls and THEN they might actually start to feel alright in my hands

I agree, My DS3 is kinda borked due to the texture on the left stick being worked off. I imagine stick more like the 360 this would not happen. But other than that I like the DS3.
