Hey guys, i was sitting on my coach and had a light bulb went off, I can watch TRS on my wii through the Opera Browser. After spending a ton of time updating the "Internet Channel" I tried going to revision 3 and streaming the new show from there, then i went to TRS.com and tried from there. Blank box, assuming the Opera Browser is missing the necessary plug in. Is there any other sites that have the new episodes on them? Co-op has a youtube channel, youtube on wii kinda sucks, no available HD stream and extremely pixly on my 50".
How do you guys watch it on your TV. I know you can stream from your PC to your xbox but that way seems archaic, having to download something that has already downloaded via itunes so i can stream it on my tv, to much planning and waiting.
**I know this has been discussed on the thread before, but it is from a long time ago and was hopping for some more input.
thanks

My personal way of watching it is downloading it on my PC and watching it through my PS3. It works great and looks great. I could do it through my 360 too, but for some reason prefer the PS3 for watching media.
I thought TRS was on Youtube as well. May not be great, but if it works might help.

It's pretty easy to stream it, and there is very little planning and waiting. If you already subscribe to one of the feeds in iTunes just make that directory one that you share with the 360. I used to watch it that way all the time, and it works great.
Now I download an HD version directly to my PS3.

I just have a spare computer hooked up to my tv. Podcasts download directly to that and I just play it full screen. The monitor isn't there and more and the tower is hidden.

I have a Mac Mini running Plex as a media server. It has a direct link to all of the Revision3 shows, so I just click and boom, there's all of the Rev3 shows in high def. Pretty sweet.

I have a Mac mini hooked up to my Bravia and I just stream via Boxee. Having Rowmote on my iPhone it works as a wireless remote, keyboad, and trackpad.

What I do to watch TRS on my TV, is I download it from computer to A flash drive and plug it in to my WD HD TV Box attached to my TV via HDMI. It isnt as slick as a streaming setup or a direct hook up of the PC or game console to TV but it works really nice.

I use the Rev3 plugin for PlayOn to stream to my 360 at home, or I use Boxee at my friend's house on the HTPC I built her.

PS3 .... download (from showpage via built in browser) ... watch.
Done.
Same here.
BTW, Rev3 doesn't offer any formats that play natively on PSP right? Are we stuck having to convert?

I usually like to watch it on my 360 over Tiversity, but sometimes if my computer has been switched off then I just watch it on my Tivo. Also, it seems that lately the Tivo version has been a higher resolution than it was previously, so that's a plus.

I usually watch on my PS3, but I see a few of you guys mentioning downloading it to the PS3. Why? Just click the link and it starts playing instantly. I find the Large WMV link gives the best quality. I would prefer the Quicktime HD link, but unfortunately the codec used is not PS3 compatible. I changed my PS3's home page to Revision 3 so it only takes a couple of clicks to get to any show and be watching it in a few seconds.

I use Playon to the PS3. It really is great but the TRS Stream is borked as of late.

I download it to iTunes on my Mac and then stream it to my 360 via 360Connect. Might be archaic but it gets the job done and I prefer watching the shows on my 40" TV.
Although I'm thinking about getting/building a PC to hook up to my TV. Might have to talk to chimpy and just get a Mac Mini.
Please consider something like the Neuros Link as an option.
I am setting up my old PC setup as a Media Linux PC with XBMC/Boxee and Miro and the rest, but this is nice little package imo which could work out great with minimal tweaking.

Apple TV streams HD natively from iTunes (you get all iTunes podcasts) so no downloading before watching. Even though Apple TV supports XBMC and Boxee, I still would not recommend anyone buy it because non iTunes HD playback is terrible.

I always download and save a copy on my computer, but I actually set up a season pass on my TiVo and watch it that way.

I use PlayOn to watch it on my tv through my 360 and Wii. But, I actually don't use the Revision3 plugin for it. With that plugin on the 360 it puts all of the shows in alphabetic order so sometimes it's kinda hard to find the current episode. So instead I use a plugin for PlayOn called 'Podcast Plugin' and I set up my own feed using the Large .wmv rss feed. Very easy to do, and it looks great on my tv.
