Any chance they'll fix the remember me function? and a improved log in session link between the main site and the forums would be nice.

One more thing that was changed is the name under your name....

"Elite member, senior member, member, newbie"

And the requirement for Senior member has increased.....I think

I hope, that's more annoying than not having the quick reply.

Quick Reply is still the coolest.

And I have no problems with staying logged in. I usually don't have to sign in again until I restart my computer.

The login thing has been working for the longest while. What browsers are you using?

Try clearing your cache - you might be picking up old code.

Yay, quick reply works! I'm using FF 2.0.0.1 and so far have not had any login problems..

For what its worth, i have everything clear out of my browser (history, cache, etc) except for specific sights that are allowed to set cookies, and some saved passwords, so maybe if you clear off most of your personal data it won't be a problem any longer? Just an idea... edit: see my next post in this thread

EDIT: Uhmm... so i've heard of the function before, but its not on any of the forums i use, so what is with the respect (reputation) button? I understand that i can add or take away from someones respect, but where can i see how much respect i have (or don't have!), and how (if at all) does it effect me?

Basically, it works like this:

Say you see a good post that provides useful information, or one that helped you in some way. You can click the reputation button on that post, and "Approve" of the post. This will give higher reputation to the user. If you see something that shouldn't be posted, such as spam, you can give negative reputation for that post to take away rep points.

As for seeing the reputation level you have, go to your UserCP (http://www.revision3.com/forum/usercp.php) and you'll see a "Latest Reputation Received" section. If you look at the right of that list, you'll see a number indicating your Reputation Level. This section will show the most recent reputation ratings you received, as well as what post it was for, and who it was who gave the reputation to you.

There are also titles or descriptions that apply to certain reputation levels. To view this, hover over the http://www.revision3.com/forum/greenfox/images/reputation/reputation_pos.gif image in your profile, or in one of your posts, and it will display your reputation. :)

Awesome, thanks for that information Shane.. i guess i did not look thoroughly enough through my usercp :o
EDIT: I can't seem to find that section in my usercp.. is this a personal problem, or are other people unable to find it to? (or, am i just an idiot??)

And, regarding how i said i was not having any problems having to log in over and over? Scratch that, now i am having that problem as well..

There are 2 lists when you go there:

New Subscribed Threads & Latest Reputation Received

Latest Reputation Received is directly under the New Subscribed Threads list.

I don't believe it will show that section if you haven't received any reputation yet. I just left you one, so check again. :)

As for you having to log in over and over again, try seeing the following topic I made a little bit ago:

Thread rating is limited to moderators only. This is a way for us to "highlight" outstanding topics.
