The new website

I had fallen behind a little in watching the show and decided to catch up today, so I went to the official website (not the Rev. 3 one). Sorry to say I was a litttle disappointed. The new site feels kind of empty.

I wasn't sure exactly how many episodes behind I was so instead of clicking one of the few on the main page I clicked the Episodes link across the top. I was presented with a page exactly like the last one except with even fewer episodes available. So I clicked the Full Episode List link. This might be just personal taste but I expected the list to go down, not across, so I was confused for a second.

So I found the episode I was looking for and clicked it. I got the episode, but the page looked exactly the same as the page I got when clicking the Episodes link, so that's only slightly off-putting. Wanting to watch in HD and not finding a way to do so I clicked the Download Episodes link which took me to a REALLY ugly RSS feed from the Rev3 site. Feeling frustrated I just went to the Rev3 site myself and enjoyed the show easily.

Ironically the episode I watched was 132 - WYSIWYG Ninja where Alex talked about how awesome the new site was and how extremely easy it was to edit it. Of course with Squarespace being a sponsor he couldn't very well say otherwise I understand.

I actually really like the new website. So simple, does exactly what I want it to. And I didn't have a problem finding what I wanted.

Only problem I have is sometimes Firefox won't load the show.

As for the site in general, I like it. clean, decent layout, etc. As for trying to download an episode from the site, you're shit out of luck. Seems the site was made so people could watch it streamed only, better off just hitting up Rev3 for downloads. Oh and I completely agree with the layout of the episode list, it makes no sense.

Yeah something went totally wrong with the download episode links on the new site.

I may be the only person that ever used it, but it helped since I will listen to the MP3
every once in awhile because my internet connection is horribly slow. I can't watch the show
on Rev3 for some reason. After it plays the ad, it won't play the episode and the play button
doesn't work. I watch in low quality because of the aforementioned slow internet speed.
Anyways, I need a fix so I can get my fix of TRS @_@
