Just curious. Diggnation (Apple fanboy that Kevin is ... and located in SFO) are covering (well doing a podcast) Macworld.

Any hope for the rest of us that inDigital will be covering CES in Las Vegas?

Yes...the InDigital crew is going to CES. We're doing the next two episodes from there. Divx has offered up their stage, so we'll be doing the host wraps from there on Thursday afternoon.

Swing by...say hello if you happen to be there...

I can't make any promises, but is there something you'd really like us to take a look at while we're there? What are you excited about for 2007?

Not sure what to expect at CES this year, and to be honest the best announcements are for products you DIDN'T expect.

Will this year be the year for OLED displays? Rollup screens?

I wanna see some of the new consumer DLSRs like the Nikon D40, D80 and the Canon XTi.

First off.... Hey Wil! (old soapbox member)

I would love to see/hear about the various tech devices for the home. I'm curious to know if anyone has a product there like Holosonic's "Audio Spotlight" (http://www.holosonics.com/products.html). I didn't see them on the CES list, but someone else may be covering this technology as well.

Other technologies (being that I live in Florida) that I'd be curious about are windows (no, not the OS...the kind on your house). I've heard of a type that becomes virtually solid via LCD technology, but was curious to know what other ideas are out there for the home.

Personally, I'm about ready to turn one of my Mac's (Mini) into a kitchen-helper with a touchscreen so that I can look up recipe's, watch TV/movies, or listen to music while cooking in the kitchen. I'd be curious to know if anything like that is out at CES too.

Thanks! ....and thanks to you, Hahn, Jessica, and all the others involved with this show. I'm glad to have found it.

Well, I don't want to give away too much of what we saw, so you all will still tune into the episode, but this CES seems to be all about HDTV and the DVD format war.

I'll copy down your comments from this thread, and tomorrow (after I do the products that are currently on my list) I'll scout around and see if I can find any of the things you guys are looking for.

I heard there's a 2160p screen somewhere at the show, aimed at the Industrial market and not the consumer market. If 1080p lets you see the pores in the skin, I can only assume this one lets you see through the skin.

I just got back from CES...great show, wish I had more time.

One of the coolest things I saw was the LG 3D (http://www.engadget.com/2006/08/26/lgs-42-inch-2d-3d-switchable-hd-lcd-tv)

Might be cool to show, but probably hard to demo on podcast.

But Will is right, TV and DVD format is probably the hottest topic this year.

Well, we're back from CES, and I think you'll all enjoy the two shows that we put together for you while we were there.

I tried to look at the products some of you asked about, but our schedule was so jam-packed, I never found the time.

In the future, however, we're going to try and involve the audience (that's you who are reading this) in the show more, and that means we'll ask about what you're interested in seeing while we're planning the show, instead of while we're in the middle of filming it.

Are you fellas gonna go to the big camera show later in the spring?

Cool two shows instead of one, even better! Looking forward to both. Keep up the great work guys...

I'm going to try and make it. PMA is really the place for new cameras. At CES, there's very few new cameras...maybe a MP upgrade, but that's about it.

This was a HUGE show to put together, and there were some . . . issues . . . that came up and set us back a little bit. I'll leave it to Hahn if he wants to pull back the curtain.
