cross posted from the Revision3 Blog - original post (http://revision3.com/blog/2009/10/20/jvs-world-update/):
A quick update to let everyone know that this past episode of JV’s World will be the last on Revision3. JV’s main job as a top-rated morning show host here in the SF Bay Area keeps him extremely busy and he’s needing to focus in on those endeavors. We’ve had a great time watching this show evolve and seeing all the fearless experiments in social engineering that JV has embarked upon. He’s an extremely dynamic and creative entertainer and we wish him the best of luck in all his future projects! Keep up with all that JV is doing in the future at www.jvsworld.com or www.twitter.com/jvsworld.

Well that was quick. Not even a dozen episodes.

Well ... I can't say I'm sorry to see him go, but I think if he had stuck to what his show originally promised he may have lasted longer ... but oh well.

Not at all saddened by this. Bi-weekly at best and the content was very wishy washy and occasionally offensive. In short, was crap :P

Good riddance. This show was a waste of capital.
After I saw this news, I decided to check out the remaining episodes to see if it had improved since the time I left it. Nope. Even the last episode was bad.
I have nothing against JV himself; it was just a bad show.

Good luck in future endeavors JV.
I can't say I watched this show often, but I do remember some positives (like when JV asked Obama for advice --- that was pretty funny).

Well, Rev3 should spend that money on the Rev3Beta shows, or some cool stuff on CryForHelp forums. Lots of good hard working folks with fun shows making good content that could use that expoure out there.. And the excellent talented thoughtful guidance that Rev3 could offer.

Or use that money to bring back Webdrifter. They said there was going to be a second season...

Didn't you say some months ago that you and some friends had taken over that site? Whatever happened to that?

Not "taken over the site" just working on making a new network with some of them, and some other folks from elsewhere... Still in the works.
When something is ready, I'll put it, correctly, on the "cry for help" forum, or my sig.
Thanks for the interest, though. (crossing fingers)

FYI, JV's show didn't get canceled. They (revision 3) asked him to stay, but he said no.
