No. I already own a ipod and I don't need another handheld media toy. That said, it would be very tempting if I didn't.

Of course I will.
...when it gets cheaper. $250 for an MP3 player seems insane to me.

I've alwas hated ipods in general, so I am definately going to buy a zune, I've seen the specs, and the full widescreen looks awesome. Along with the wireless, it beats the shit out of an ipood.

I already have a 30gig iPod.
If I didn't have an mp3 player and that price were $199.99 AND it supported xvid/divx... then I would buy it. But it isn't, and it doesn't. So yeah.

I love my 60gig video iPod and am on this anti-Microsoft streak right now. I think being in Apple-country has contributed. But either way, no. I will not buy a Zune. Sounds nifty to have another gadget, and I live for gadgets, but not Zune. I'd buy the 80gig video and have two iPods before I'd buy a Zune.

I won't be buying one, my 30 gig video iPod is fine now and iTunes has all the content I need (music, TV and movies). Im thinking that Apple will release the rumored touch screen (widescreen) video iPod some time before the holiday season which will blow the Zune out of the water.

I probably will buy one, my zen is getting old and obselete. Plus I wouldn't mind watching videos on the go.

I just bought the new "5.5" gen ipod, and I love it. I doubt I will ever buy the Zune, unless they add a bunch of features, fix the wireless ability to be more like musicgremlin, and lower the price.

I don't think I will be buying a Zune, I am going to be so broke this Christmas, since I will be buying a Wii, HDDVD player for Xbox 360, I might get the 150 buck wireless racing wheel but I highly doubt it. Il be buying Gears of War, Il be buying BF 2142 in a few weeks. Also I need to save up for my New computer when Windows Vista ever ships, and need a new Graphics Card for DX10. So a I will be hella broke lol.

Wow, first post.
I'll probably buy one, I have a Photo iPod and I'd like to have a MP3 player that also plays videos.
Also, I like the look and the turn the the side featuer for the video.

I don't know. I really like my Creative Zen Vision 30gb. Yes its a tad large, but I am happy enough with this player that I would definately buy another creative player. I would personally have to see a Zune in action to decide if I like it or not.

I just bought an Conwon iAUDIO X5L a few months ago.
Within a week, after seeing a comprehensive review (http://www.epizenter.net/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3770.post) comparing it with a Creative ZEN Vision: M (complete with audio 3D spectograph analysis, for goodness sakes!) I immediately had buyer's remorse, returned the X5L and got a ZVM, which I have enjoyed greatly and not regretted in doing so.
The Zune doesn't impel me to dump my ZVM. The 30GB ZVM has been price matched with the similar iPod, both of which the Zune now costs less than.
Were I in the market for a new player, I'd have to hear and use the Zune. Just from looking at the specs, I absolutely does NOT give me a second thought about letting go of my ZVM. NO WAY!
One real problem is the glossy surface of the ZVM, which you would want to protect from scrathes with one of these (http://www.bestskinsever.com/servlet/the-Music--fdsh--Media-Players-cln-Creative/Categories) from bestskinsever.com--and order it so you can stick it on your ZVM as soon as you take the ZVM out of the box!

It looks really impressive. I may be turning in my 4th gen iPod if the Zune is any good. Of course i'll wait for the reviews.
I'm still not sure which to get, yet. Was the Zune DRM thing been cleared up yet?

It looks promising, but I’ll wait till the second generation comes out...unless I get one off the truck.

I deffinitly am buying a zune. Ive owned 3 iPods an havent had the best of luck with any of them, between the horrible battery life, dead pixles, an iTunes horrible stablity on windows, i have had it with iPod's.

Im definitly buying a Zune, i got the Ipod Mini which is nice but i like the Zune over the Ipod video because of the widescreen support.

There are some features that have to be enabled before I give up my iPod. They have to enable wireless sync with computers (Christ, it already has wifi built in!), they have to come out with a color that I will actually want because brown just isn't my thing, and they have to work out the kinks that come with any infant device.
