Alex and Ray team up to turn Nate's snarky forum into an opinionated blog.
Personally I liked it, the show is finally starting to pick up.

Ep3 was much better than the previous 2. Also glad they've sorted out the "internet kings" web referencing. Drives me nuts to hear "back slash" on web addresses lol
Looking forward to next week.

And then there were 3! This series just keeps getting better and better. Looks like the characters are starting to get a little development and we are starting to see a story line. I am excited to what the next ep entails. great job!

i like what i see, I hope Rev3 has more scripted content coming. There can only be so many "how to" shows.

Muy bien! This episode is a huge improvement. Love the jokes, and the GoDaddy ad was pretty funny too! keep it up.

This episode was really good. Made me laugh out loud a few times. The scene between nate and ray on the couch made me laugh a lot.
Maybe it's not Alex's acting that I don't like, maybe it's his character or something. I feel like if Alex doesn't articulate every single word of his line perfectly he starts over... His character doesn't feel "real" to me.

I think the character is fine, but he always has the same smiling expression. I feel like he over acts a bit. On a more positive note, I love the character Nate. HillairEus!

dudes, keep the jokes coming.
What jokes? You mean the horrible SCO/REO Speedwagon "joke"? Ugh. If you can't make something even as funny as Big Bang Theory then why bother?

Guys.... I wonder if you'd be better off doing the writing and hiring some actors. The scripts are clever but the delivery is kinda distracting.
I'm trying to love it, I really am! Props to you for having a go, but please please work on the acting.

isn't this basically documentary/mockumentary style? so they aren't supposed to be great "actors"?
also "big bang theory" isn't funny. seriously. if you are watching this trying to compare the two, you should go back to the unfunny prime time show then.
do you guys make shows? let's see 'em. show us what funny really is!

There are different levels of heinousity: just plain ol' heinous for starters, then there's Butt Heinous, then there's butt 4uck1ng heinous.
This show has made it to level 3 in only 3 episodes. The dialogue is so far from being natural it's actually painful to watch at times. Uninteresting plotlines + unfunny dialogue/delivery = a turd sandwich for lunch.
Damn, cuz that's not what I ordered. WAITER!

This episode improved enough for me to subscribe in iTunes. I'm starting to appreciate the stilted delivery in a meta "farce of mockumentary" way.
Agree, i never saw any comparison to the heinous Big Bang formulaic sitcom dreck. Other than young guys into computers/tech.
This is really more of a farce on The Office, than anything. I kinda like that we aren't supposed to LOVE these characters, just understand where they are coming from.
I think the "acting" could at least benefit from some better video editing, ala, overlapping dialogue, watching a characters reaction to what is said, as opposed to always showing who's talking. Other editing tricks that help move a story along.
looking forward to where this goes.

wow. i actually thought it was pretty hilarious. but then again, they're making fun of snarky people like you, so i can see how you wouldn't think it was particularly funny.

also, its not like the acting is oscar-caliber, but these are just regular dudes with funny ideas, and i doubt that any of us could do better, or even as good.

true, however we are also not putting out a show on a major internet network. I don't think they should be super at acting, but I don't think we should completely excuse them for being terrible at it because they aren't professional actors. It'd be like going to a restaurant, getting bad food, and them going "Our chef has never trained or really even cooked before we hired." and then you going "oh well, I guess the food isn't that bad, cause he's just a regular guy like me"

Once again, thanks to everyone who watched and commented. Glad to hear that many of you feel (along with us) that the show is coming into its own more with each episode. We appreciate the feedback and look forward to hearing more as the show continues. Rabidbadger, I'm especially digging your point about the characters.
I'd like to interject something in our defense (without being defensive) about the acting.
All I can really say about the acting is that just like the rest of the show, these things take time to find their stride and feel more natural. Believe me, we certainly don't have any illusions about our acting chops.
We're never going to be incredible actors, and that will probably always be a barrier of entry for some. That being said, we're about 8 episodes into this, and I think the performances do become more natural over time, and we'll continue to listen to feedback and relax more. The show was never picked up because of our abilities (or lack thereof) as thespians, but rather, the geeky story we're telling and our subject matter. And even though I'm biased, I think those things rule.

Good episode. The 'commercials' in the show are getting kinda weird but I guess they have to mention them somehow.
I just realized that Ray was watching Leet World at the beginning of the episode. Nice touch.

The people that are saying this show is funny, how is it funny?
They were no joke in it, I didn't even laugh once.
What if they got Alex Albrecht , wasn't he supposed to be in a sitcom, why not get him on here. Now with him on here, then the show would be 1000% better.

Albrecht? What will he do? Sit around on their sofa with a laptop, cracking-wise?
I like the show a lot. How about an episode about making a pilgrimage to What-a-Burger? -- sort of a Harold and Kumar go to White Castle homage but for Texas! (I lived in TX for 12 years) And Alex's GPS gets them totally lost (Diane made him buy the cheap one). Hilarity and hijinks occurs with the local trailer park dwellers.
Looking for writers? :D

Yep. Texas has a pretty cool vibe to it, especially Austin. The '91 Richard Linklater film Slacker was filmed in Austin on a very low budget.
