Did anyone else get into the beta for the new dashboard items?
I just started playing around with it tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The 360 Twitter app is pretty useless, but the facebook interface is surprisingly good. It is actually a lot better using the xbox dashboard to browse photos than the actual facebook web interface. They load smoother and it's nice having the full TV screen for it. The last.fm stuff is pretty cool, but unfortunately cannot be used while in game.

I got the update last night... I must say I am loving it!!! I have been using the Last.FM app non stop...

I noticed on engadget that they were using info from a UK demo of the preview so I don't think so.

I got the e-mail saying I was in yesterday, but I just checked and still don't have the update.

I have a media centre PC connected to the TV so I don't think any of this stuff would be very useful. Kinda dumb to be changing channel and running another device so I can access facebook. But the Sky TV integration is very cool though. Just as I'm getting used to the idea of moving to use that, Microsoft announce that you can get the same service through windows media centre.. so I don't need to :lol:

Wow they are really rolling out this update at a snails pace. I got the e-mail over two days ago and still haven't gotten the update. The last time they did a preview for a dash update I got it on the first day.

On the feedback page they said the last of the updates will go out Tuesday, so if you don't have it on Wednesday, contact them.

Our Xbox got the message to update this afternoon, so it's downloading now. Can't wait to see what's new. :)

I don't know if mine didn't download right, but there wasn't anything new. Just some random update for me. I was excited and then disappointed to not see new features. I guess it's still coming in November if I remember right.

The latest update is for something regarding wireless adapters or something. No dashboard update. :(

So I still did not get the update yet. I posted a message in the forum or the preview, but I am really not all that worried about getting it I guess. I am still trying to get more achievements ;) .
