No one mentioned Doom? Doom was so scary that I had to play it during the day --- with all the lights on. That game gave me nightmares as a kid.

Being on another planet by yourself while facing hordes of enemies from hell seemed pretty freaking scary to me.

I was surprised at no mention of Dead Space. I can't play that for long in the dark.

Old Unreal engine game, Nosferatu - Wrath of Malachi, had some super creepy atmosphere too. Nobody probably remembers that game though. The best thing was it was themed in sepia tone with film grain overlaid on it. This was back in like 2002 when that wasn't in vogue. They made it look very much like a 20's era silent film.

Myst anyone....sure it was isolated with no zombies to blast, but the lack of social interaction made the game chilly to play.

again i still don't understand the purpose of this show, if we want a retrospective view, wouldn't one of the video game reviewing shows be able to give us all we need. Do we really need weekly segments from this annoying host?

I can't believe no one mentioned the original Aliens Vs Predator game on PC. Turn off all the lights and crank up the volume, then load up the Marine campaign on one of the harder difficulties.

Oh, before you start, you may also want to line your chair with plastic or just slap on some adult diapers, because there's a high probability you will involuntarily relieve yourself when everything goes to hell.
